Schaefer Ventilation Equipment provides freight estimates for our dealers. These are, however, only estimated shipping charges that we receive from our carriers. These estimates are subject to change by the actual carrier and based on the information that is communicated to the carrier. Changes that could trigger a variance may include, but are not limited to: address changes (zip code), redirected shipments, residential or farm delivery for LTL, need for lift gate trucks, government site delivery, refused shipments, etc.
If actual freight charges differ from the estimate, a supplementary invoice will be sent to the dealer for the additional charges.
Freight estimates are valid for 14 days.
Additionally, all UPS drop-ship orders will now require a telephone number for the recipient on the order. An email address for the dealer requesting the drop-ship will also be required. All UPS shipments will automatically be sent a Quantum View email from UPS stating when the order shipped and an approximate delivery date.
